National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

The NSS Unit is one of the vibrant social service wings of the College. The NSS activities are intended for developing and strengthening the spirit of friendship, encouraging the exchange of ideas and broadening the horizons of individual experiences.
Highlights of the activities include health awareness, blood donation camps, classes on different social and cultural topics, environmental programmes, plastic removal, watershed management and development of libraries for rural areas. The Unit is also involved in giving philanthropic aids to adopted wards in Manarcadu Grama Panchayath. In this colony they are implementing plastic awareness camps(hazards), nature conservation, rain water harvesting techniques etc.
During the years, the NSS Unit won several awards for their commendable endevours, in blood donation campaign, best volunteer etc.
Red Ribbon Club is functioning under the College NSS Unit.
